I graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Cello Performance from Portland State University and am a member of the professional music fraternity Mu Phi Epsilon. I have been teaching music for over 40 years with piano as my secondary instrument, as well as vocal studies and composition. I remain current on the latest techniques in pedagogical training and performance. Other areas of extensive study and teaching are dance and art with great success in all ages from three years of age through adulthood. I believe creativity is necessary to the mind, body, soul, and emotions, as a key to wellness, expression and understanding. I have a deep desire to help others find the joy of music and the arts through my own creativity and performance as well as their own.
